Indeed, Athletic Bilbao has been banned from signing players for the next three transfer windows. This applies to this summer, winter 2027, and summer 2027, meaning the Basque club will be unable to make any signings until January 2028. Athletic Club will undoubtedly try to appeal this sanction in order to reduce its penalty.
