On Sunday evening, PSG had a tough time against Lyon (2-3) . A "very mature" team , according to Luis Enrique , who is a fan, as he admitted in the post-match press conference. "They're a team that plays very well. They played a very good match. It was difficult for us. They have a lot of injuries, some very important players. But they're a truly competitive team, who played three days ago (against Betis in the Europa League). We could see their fatigue. It's tough for everyone. But I like the way they play, their way of attacking and defending."
João Neves also acknowledged that Lyon were a tough opponent. "OL are a great team. They give everything on the pitch to win and to win the league. We were stronger in the match and we didn't give up until the end. We know the league is very difficult. The teams are very strong and we can't afford to relax. I think it's a demonstration of our hard work and our fighting spirit." This may have made the difference, although Lyon believe the referee's decision was the deciding factor.
