Barça: Hansi Flick's comment on the possibility of coaching Lionel Messi

After a two-and-a-half-year wait, Barça will finally return to the Camp Nou this Saturday to host Athletic Bilbao. A capacity of 45,000 seats has been set for this match (the stadium is still partially under renovation), which will certainly attract some of the club's former stars. Unfortunately for Catalan fans, Lionel Messi is not expected to be able to attend due to his busy schedule with Inter Miami, who play on Sunday. However, the Argentine star was able to visit the stadium as recently as last week.

At a press conference this Friday, Hansi Flick was asked to comment on the Argentine star's surprise visit… but also on the possibility of coaching him one day: “Messi is the best football player of the last ten years, maybe more. I've always enjoyed watching him play, he's fantastic, what he's achieved is incredible. Coaching him one day? His contract ends in 2028, mine in 2027… it doesn't depend on me.”
