The huge tackle on Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Joan Laporta

This is a picture that's getting people talking. On Wednesday, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi was spotted hugging Joan Laporta. The Barça boss was invited to the meeting of the European Club Association (EFC), of which NAK is the president. Long at odds, particularly over the Superleague project, the two leaders were seen smiling and having lunch together with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin.

While Barça hasn't confirmed anything, this is seen as a clear step backwards for Laporta regarding the Superleague. The Blaugrana club, which is not a member of the EFC, is in any case moving towards NAK. And that doesn't please everyone. In the OnzeTV3 program on Esport3 , consultant Lluis Carasco didn't mince his words. "This embrace doesn't come from a big club, it comes from a club that accepts the submission to the power that Al-Khelaïfi represents, but it also represents unity within the world of football." This reconciliation doesn't seem to be to everyone's taste.
