Cole Palmer has finally registered his Cold Palmer trademark.

 

Nicknamed Cold Palmer for his celebration where he rubs his arms as if he were cold, Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer (23) wanted to register his trademark. According to The Athletic , he received the green light from the UK Intellectual Property Office in the last few days. This means no one will be able to use Palmer's nickname "Cold" without his permission.

Bordeaux winery Château Palmer opposed this move by the English player , prompting Cole Palmer to amend its application to remove all references to wine. This does not preclude it from covering other alcoholic beverages such as spirits and liqueurs. The trademark registration is valid until November 25, 2034.
