After Miami, Barça are negotiating a match in Peru

Following their defeat in La Liga's El Clásico , FC Barcelona are continuing their plans for international friendlies . After the recent setback of their tour in Miami against Villarreal, the Catalan club is in advanced talks to play a match in Peru in December, with a very attractive financial offer of between 7 and 8 million euros, according to Mundo Deportivo

This opportunity comes after Barça had to cancel another friendly match in Libya, scheduled for October 10, due to security concerns, and after the Miami debacle cost the club approximately €6 million in revenue . President Joan Laporta informed the team captains, as well as Hansi Flick and Deco, of the club's intention to accept the proposal. The friendly is expected to take place after the final league match of 2025, while Barça's first official match of 2026 is scheduled for January 3 or 4 against Espanyol.
