Liverpool: Hugo Ekitike is ready for competition with Alexander Isak

This summer, Liverpool broke the bank. Recruiting for nearly 500 million euros (482), the Reds clearly displayed their high ambitions for the season that has just begun. One of the priority projects for the Mersey club was the striker position. Unhappy with the performance of Darwin Nunez, the Liverpool management sold the Uruguayan to Saudi Arabia and recruited two world-class strikers: Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike . Recruited for 95 million euros, the Frenchman has made a promising debut with three goals and one assist in four matches.

A performance that seriously lends credence to the former PSG player's desire to be a starter with Liverpool, despite the 150 million invested by the club to recruit Isak. Interviewed at a press conference, the striker trained at Reims launched the duel with his new teammate: " It's fun, when you play in the best teams, you expect to be in competition with the best players. Isak is a player I've watched personally. It's a pleasure, it will offer tough competition and I will try to be good and perform well so that it's just the coach's problem.
