The list of 30 nominees for the 2025 Ballon d'O

PSG dominates the nominations

The former won the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain , playing a key role in their triumph. The Stade Rennais-trained player, who scored 35 goals and provided 16 assists in 53 matches for the Parisian club, has flourished following his move to centre-forward. A Ligue 1 and Coupe de France winner, Ousmane Dembélé is also a Club World Cup finalist with the Parisian club.

For his part, Lamine Yamal is no exception. The 18-year-old winger has won La Liga , the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup with FC Barcelona . A Champions League semi-finalist, he has no fewer than 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches for the Blaugranas this season. Other contenders include Raphinha from FC Barcelona, as well as Achraf Hakimi and Vitinha for Paris Saint-Germain.
