It's the current saga in Paris. Gianluigi Donnarumma 's future is the talk of the town. This Monday, we revealed that the French champions have practically reached a verbal agreement with LOSC for the transfer of Lucas Chevalier. This pushes the Italian further towards the exit, although it's not out of the question that he could stay until the end of his contract.
This Monday evening, Le Parisien revealed a little more about the reasons that led PSG to move on. Aside from the fact that the Donnarumma clan dragged their feet in negotiations and that their demands didn't match the board's proposal, some within the club reportedly believe that he has reached his peak this season and that it would be difficult for him to do better. PSG would have returned to a 3- or 5-year cycle if the goalkeeper were to renew, as he doesn't possess all the qualities Luis Enrique desires. The latter isn't necessarily a fan of "Gigio's" kicking ability or his aerial abilities. Paris had, and clearly still has, doubts about him.
