A new €40 million player has just been offered to Real Madrid

The defense was Real Madrid 's main area of focus this summer. A sector plagued by injuries this season, whether in the center with Éder Militão and David Alaba or on the flanks with Dani Carvajal and even an often-injured Ferland Mendy, it was therefore at the back that the management wanted to strengthen first. And this has been done with the arrival of Dean Huijsen for the central defense. The Spanish defender of Dutch origin is already shining under the orders of Xabi Alonso during this 2025 Club World Cup .

For the right-back position, the Spanish capital club has signed Trent Alexander-Arnold, thus securing one of the world's leading players in his position. For the left flank, the Merengues hope to close the deal on Alvaro Carreras (Benfica) after the Club World Cup, but already have alternatives in place in case his arrival falls through, with Alejandro Grimaldo (Leverkusen) as their main plan B. And Real Madrid won't stop there, as Florentino Pérez's plan is to recruit a new central defender. It remains to be seen whether the Madrid players want him for this summer, or if they will wait until next summer.

Real Madrid is not particularly interested... for the moment

The names of Ibrahima Konaté (Liverpool), who is free in a year, and William Saliba (Arsenal), have been appearing frequently in the Spanish press in recent days, as has Christian Mosquera (Valencia). And now, in Italy, the Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a new player has been proposed to the management of the Casa Blanca. It is Evan Ndicka, the Ivorian international central defender of AS Roma , born in Paris and trained at AJ Auxerre.

La Louve needs to fill the coffers and is hoping to make a big sale. The 25-year-old, who is coming off an excellent season during which he notably played all of his team's Serie A matches (38), is a squad member with high market value. The Roman leaders even directly offered him to Real Madrid this weekend, with a sale price set at €40 million. For the moment, Real Madrid has declined this offer, not being necessarily interested and considering they have enough defensive talent for the coming season, at least according to information from the Italian media. But as we know, things change very quickly in football.
