As the clash between Olympique de Marseille and Newcastle approaches at the Vélodrome on Tuesday evening (9 p.m.) , the police prefecture announced on Monday the implementation of a major security operation, while nearly 500 English supporters, out of the 3,300 expected tomorrow evening at the Vélodrome, have already arrived in Marseille since Monday and some are already near many bars and pubs frequented by tourists.

In several bars in the city center, particularly around the Old Port, some have already made their voices heard, alongside some Olympique de Marseille fans, chanting provocative slogans like " Fuck PSG, Fuck PSG ," targeting Marseille's historic rival. The atmosphere is already electric on the eve of the Champions League clash .
